In 1973 Meredith Bell hitches a ride from her sister in law, Sarah Delano to a desert motel where she plans to avenge her husbands murder. Her crusade takes a turn when the women find themselves in a motel room with cartel matriarch, Ruth and an offbeat mob moll, Bunny. Tensions rise as Bunny stirs the pot and Meredith presses for answers. Ruth plans her next move while Sarah’s main concern is getting the car back on time to her husband, Donnie. Secrets unfold, digging up buried wounds from the past. Embittered and angry, the women hold each other hostage in the room.
